PROJECT BRIEF

      It is a suggestion, which is developed for the client to present the whole building and get the main technical-and-economic indexes of the project. The project brief gives more time to think over everything, to correct the task and to make a decision about future architectural design object. It actually describes different requirements that should be reconciled and accommodated.

SCHEMATIC DESIGN

       It is the most important part of architectural design of buildings and houses. An architect, before starting the schematic design, gathers all the necessary information, analyzes the object he designs, considering all the client`s requirements and wishes, searching through the different technical decisions. An advantage of schematic design is the ability to present as soon as possible an exterior of future building and its inner layout, to define approximate costs for your particular project. The list of drawings, which are included into schematic design, is different and depends on your technical assignment (your wishes) and how difficult is the object you want us to design.

SHEMATIC DESIGN INCLUDES:

  • explanatory note;

  • plan of locating buildings on the plot;

  • computer visualization of the design object;

  • floor plans with sizes and grade levels;

  • facades  with marks;

  • roofing plan with slopes;

  • section drawing.

       Schematic Design is the basis for development of the detailed project and sometimes – for small and simple buildings, trusting the experience of the builders – it can be used for construction.  Schematic Design helps to form clear requirements for the future designing.

      No matter what would you like to build: house, office building or apartment house, in any case, the first step of architectural design is the creation of schematic design.  Schematic design helps to create the first insight of the future object. If the interior design creates an internal space of the building without affecting the external, architecture creates a complex of these spaces.

      The architectural design has both internal and external spaces, which are inextricably connected as two parts of one unit. After receiving the task of project development, we can start design works. Design works usually have 3 stages: project brief, schematic design, design development. Our studio works with two first stages, and our partners – with the third one.
